Born and raised in Sweden, I guess I was somewhat predisposed to adopt a modern, clean aesthetic.  But it was the unscripted vitality and expressiveness of New York that captivated me.  My artistic style demonstrates a fusion of this tug of war between nature and nurture.  The symmetrical grays and whites of long, dark and snowy winters coupled with the intense blues of summer seascapes courtesy the Baltic Sea, have influenced the colors from which I create my work. I draw further inspiration from the chaotic progress that permeates the City, allowing me to introduce bit of grit and toughness even in my most serene creations.
